Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated 1444 km of electrified railway lines and laid the foundation stone for the doubling of the Furkating-Sivasagar section. These projects will strengthen connectivity, improve transportation and accelerate economic growth across Assam and the Northeast, further integrating the region with India’s fast-growing infrastructure network.
