Speaking at a public programme in Balotra, Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi explained how India successfully navigated one of the biggest global energy crises of the 21st century. In his address, he highlighted how timely policy decisions, effective diplomacy, strategic planning and optimal utilisation of domestic resources helped India maintain energy security even as global fuel supplies came under severe pressure. He also spoke about the steps taken to rapidly increase domestic LPG production, reconfigure refineries, expand PNG connections and ensure that the burden of rising global prices did not fall on ordinary households.
