The 594-km access-controlled Ganga Expressway marks a major milestone in expanding high-speed connectivity across Uttar Pradesh, linking key regions including Meerut, Bulandshahr, Sambhal and Prayagraj while reducing travel time between Meerut and Prayagraj from 12 hours to about 6 hours. Featuring an emergency airstrip and supporting logistics and industrial growth across thousands of hectares, the project reflects India’s rapid expressway expansion from 93 km in 2014 to over 3,500+ km today, strengthening the journey towards Viksit Bharat.
