Stressing the need for self-reliance, he pointed out how most aircraft maintenance work still happens abroad and outlined efforts to build strong MRO facilities within India. The upcoming MRO hub in Jewar will not only retain revenue within the country but also generate large-scale employment opportunities for youth.
