Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Rajya Sabha on the ongoing crisis in West Asia and appealed to state governments to work together in the spirit of cooperative federalism. He urged states to ensure timely delivery of benefits, support migrant workers and act firmly against hoarding and black marketing. He also called for a ‘Team India’ approach to maintain growth and effectively tackle the global crisis.
