PM Modi laid the foundation stone for various development works via video conferencing in Kokrajhar, Assam. Referring to the Bodo Peace Accord, he said the agreement has paved the way for lasting peace and development in the region. He highlighted initiatives including a ₹1500 crore development package, new educational institutions, infrastructure projects and recognition of Bodo language and cultural traditions at the national level.
